Witness Protection Program
It's easy enough to move someone to a new location, get them a home etc. But how do they provide a new job without raising suspicions?

2. It's more than just that
Gov't: Excuse me ABC company, we'd like you to give Jane Smith a job

ABC Company: Sure, no problem. I won't even ask why.

(huh?)

5. "Do you have a resume?"
"No, but I have ten FBI agents with me who will ensure that you never get a bank loan again and that you, your family, and your company gets audited every year if you don't give me the job."

institution. I think there's one college in Ohio that is commonly used.

9. A whole work history is made up for them
with references that lead back to Federal sources. Of course, the whole idea of WP is to stay low-profile, so I imagine the types of jobs to which its participants apply are not the most rigorous at background checking.

10. they are provided w. shitty jobs
this is one of the criticisms of the program & one of the reasons that witnesses drop out

you can't really fake a background for a "real" job v. well so you end up managing aisle 9
