If you live in that "tiny portion of the country" and you're sick of dodging the damn hurricanes and can't move yet ... and you've been seeing hurricane damage for two months, you can get pretty darn scared. I don't mind if a few people are scared with me. And I'm glad there are some DUers who do consider it a big enough deal to start a thread. Maybe if my house blows away and I'm underneath the rubble for two months before I'm discovered, you won't notice. Maybe someone will say, "Anyone heard from AirmensMom?"
