| 1. I have no problems at all with PayPal |

You have to be aware of the rules if you are using it with EBAY purchases and do not fall for the Spam which claims to be from PayPal.

I got one of those Spams once. But I think PayPal always uses my first and last name in the emails, not "Dear PayPal user" ... that's what tipped me off.

No problems. They got my money back from a crooked eBayer once. Most of the time, I back it with a credit card instead of my bank account. That gives me more security and you get longer to dispute charges (PayPal only gives you 30 days).

For one thing, they now make you give them a bank account number, which makes me very uncomfortable. I tried to switch it to a credit card but they say I will no longer be "verified" if I do that.
I hate paypal. But it's a necessary evil if you want to use the "buy it now" option on eBay.

| 5. Paypal is great, I have just one complaint... |

I always pay by credit card for the extra protection. But Paypal wants you to pay using your back account (so they save the merchant's fee). So every time you pay for something it sneakily defaults to paying using your back account. I don't think there is any way to change the default to credit card. So every time I pay for something I have to click on the fairly inconspicuous "More Funding Options" link, select my credit card, and then have to click through a "Are you sure you want to use your credit card?" pitch from Paypal pleading with me to use my back account instead! It is fairly easy to forget to switch to your credit card (I have forgotten a couple of times).
