Physical therapist plays Faux News all day.
I have now complained twice about the TV. When Bill O'Lielly came on, I nearly threw a fit. The next time I came in, I was a lot nicer. I explained that having the TV on was distracting me from my exercises and that it would be much better to have it off. I at least wanted to have it changed from Faux News to something else.

They changed the channel, but said they couldn't turn the TV off because other patients might want to watch. There was only one other patient who wasn't watching. I was reminded of the telescreen in 1984: YOU MUST WATCH THIS CRAP!

Meanwhile, I'm not terribly thrilled with my right-wing therapist. He has spent more time on the phone than he has with me, and according to the others, he is "in charge" of politics and what's on the television.

Damn. I really don't want to go back and have to ask AGAIN to either change the channel or turn the TV off. I feel like physical therapy has become an adversarial relationship.

Last time I checked, this place was the only place in the county that accepted Medi-Cal. I'm wondering if it would be best to do without PT rather than have my blood pressure rise every time I walk into the office. Sigh.

3. If you have your regime down pat,
you could probably do most of what you are doing at the local Y....

It worked for me...

4. Yeah...I'm thinking about doing it at home.
We don't have a "Y"...hehe. We don't have much of anything here. The fact that these guys are the only ones who take Medi-Cal should tell you something. (At least they were the last time I checked.)

call your insurance company and see who else is in network. My mom had to drop her cardiologist because he was a right wing a-hole.

12. How much longer do you have to be in PT?
That sucks that there's no other place to go.

My dad stopped getting his oil changed at a place that kept playing Faux news and he told them so. :D

But seriously, that is just messed up that you have to put up with that crap on top of all the pain you're in. (Believe me, I know - I have three herniated disks in my neck as well.) :pals:
