I'm still nursing a headache that was brought on by an all day math practicing assignment I gave myself to try to pull my grades up. I have a B in math so far. It's my first in college and I am sort of bummed about it. It's precalculus algebra and I should understand it better, but the tests we have are timed so I haven't been doing that well with those. I always tense up when I know there is a time limit.

i really like the cover of Tears for Fears "Mad World" at the end of Donnie Darko. i think its kind of funny, i think its kind of sad.

as a little boy i sustained a massive concussion as a result of a skiing accident......i had really strange dreams, almost like waking dreams for a few days afterwards.....and ever since then i've had very strange and vivid dreams

I write a political comic, see my sig.

I'm a late night guy anyway, and I like to think and write late at night, while the world sleeps. The knowledge that I will not be interrupted by external forces - phones, faxes, emails, door bells, etc. is soothing. On the TV are news shows, like CSPAN. Or maybe CNN, or MSNBC, or even Fox News. I watch them all, because only by watching them all will I know what each one has said about each story, and how they have covered it.

A famous man of American jurisprudence wrote "I write to know what I think." Or something remarkably close to that. I think that says it for me.

I find posting relaxing, and it is practice. Turning phrases is like anything else. If you want to be a word merchant, practice, practice, practice.

10. I used to work for a paper

And the political cartoonist was soo good. I'd match his work against all others in the industry.
He even won a top award once. But he never seems to even try to crack the nut. Which is a shame. He keps writing for an audience of about 2,000. Sad.
