16. I can't. It's late and I'm tired and there are too many people

about whom I'd want to say any number of good things, and I'd have to be mindful not to leave any out, which would be a genuine problem because I'd not want to hurt the feelings of anyone who was not on the list, especially given that anyone whose feelings would be hurt at not being on my list would feel that way because they valued my opinion of them, which is kind of flattering to me because given that to have someone value your opinion of them means that they think your opinion is worth something, and that's certainly a compliment (isn't it?) and there are some people, not saying that it would be me specifically, who are constantly surprised that there are others who actually pay attention to what they say and how they think of others, so it's a bit of a burden to make sure you don't offend anyone or hurt their feelings; well, not a burden actually, but kind of a responsibility at least, and I for one do not want to be the source of bad feelings on anyone's part, least of all any of the people here who have been so nice to me or at least tolerated my running on as I have a tendency to do.

And you're definitely one of them.
