1. Have you ever had an MRI?

My first time was for head and neck. I didn't know what to expect except for the question: are you claustrophobic? I'm sound sensitive, and no one told me of the frellin' SOUND.

Almost needless to say, I refused the neck scan until I had earplugs and enough tranquilizers to be rendered senseless.

3. Last time I had one, they found a disc stuck in my spinal cord for

a very long time. (well over a year.)

The next ones will be interesting, I suspect.

I will get doped up this time, however.

But given the continual weakening, I know it's not long that I have left...

2. No fun.

I had a head done post-head injury, luckily they provided ear plugs.

I'm not claustrophobic, so it was not too bad.

4. MRIs..

... are a piece of cake! Now today, I had one of those procedures where your entire digestive system must be completely empty.

That meant a Sunday of no eating, and drinking literally a half gallon of horrible dreck.

And never getting far from the bathroom.

You'll get no sympathy from me :)
