Nini and I made a quick escape to San Diego yesterday

Just a beautiful city... beautiful. I am amazed at how many things have NOT changed since I was a kid. Mission Bay has perfect picnic spots, and Old Town still has some of greatest dining anywhere. Balboa Park, and the world's best Zoo, the hills and beaches... it's the jewel of southern California. B-)

We went to the Port of San Diego on San Diego Bay, to visit a friend, and enjoyed a fantastic meal through his hospitality. Just a very relaxing day.

If you have never been to San Diego, make an effort to go sometime.

I'll have time between sessions of the school I'm in. So, I might take a few days and head out west.

The world survived matcom and I in the same house. So I think the world can handle us in the same room. :D

I know it's a shopping mall, but at least it's different than all the rest.

I like that it is pretty much Open air. And some of the shops are interesting. Not all Mall style shops. But I really loved Seaport Village. There was a cigar store there that was AWESOME!!!

2 7-week sessions. I start next Monday and go until Dec. 2. After that, I'm free until Jan. 9. :)

I know you said you'd be out for the weekend but Sunday or Monday night would be ok nights provided I don't stay out too late. I have to take this test seriously and pass it or else I'm in trouble. And it's multiple choice - which I hate. I take the test on Wednesday and then fly home that night

Sunday we won't be back in L.A. until 10ish. So yeah, Monday is good. It is an easy drive, actually. I'd hate to miss the opportunity!

If you're free earlier in the day, that would be even better. I would like you to see Mission Bay and Old Town, for starters. Somehow, something will happen. :-)
