I think the donation page said that after three business days, if you have not received your star than send an email to [email protected]. I suspect that there is much confusion now, and he might need a reminder.

And are you sure you spelled it correctly? It should be on your notification email.

6. It does take a couple of days and doesn't instantly appear

since you are contributing to a site independent of DU. That's one way they insure anonymity when one member sponsors another. I'd give it 48 hours, especially since the weekend's coming up, then send an e-mail. Congratulations in advance on receiving your star.:-)
