4. It will be so nice to see Forsberg in the
orange and black, too bad it took 8 years and the whole Lindros soap opera. Looking forward to seeing Carter and Richards make their debut too.

even with Bobby Clarke. I have no idea what possessed them to try to go that route.

10. Bind'Amour was the heart and soul of that team, I hate Lindros with
an intense passion. All the players we gave up to get him: Forsberg, Hextall, Ricci, Chris Simon, plus a few draft picks that I think turned into Hedjuk and Tanguay.....he wasn't worth the price of admission. Living in Pittsburgh I can see the same kind of hype around Crosby, will be intersting to see how he handles it.

year! I think Poulin, Propp and Kerr were the front line! There wasn't a big name on the team, but they took Edmonton to the final minutes of the seventh game of the Stanley Cup. :wow:

On edit: It was ALL heart and desire.

married my middle school gym teacher. Used to have a Dave Poulin poster up on my wall as a kid.

he suffered several years ago. :)

6. I like hockey, but I LOVE "Lost". If it makes
you feel better, I would rather go to a hockey game than watch "Lost".

11. Oh dude - I have to disagree. The talent these players
have is amazing. If you've never sat on the first level, halfway up (too close sucks) at a professional hockey game, you don't know what you are missing. The speed, the puck handling and the play development is lost on television, but it's amazing in person.

14. Actually, of all the professional leagues they are the most well
spoken and well behaved off of the ice. You obviously have no idea how much poetry, history, and tradition there is to the game.

This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle. Number six, Ogie Oglethorpe.
