But that has not stopped many DUers from finding everything from a fling to marriage here.

I met my SO at a DU meet-up and we're getting married in mid-November, the second anniversary of our meeting. :-) And, I think we're like the fourth or fifth couple to get married.

The Lounge is where all the fun is at and with your looks, I'm sure you won't have to wait long. But, more importantly, you should tell a little more about yourself: likes, dislikes, job, hobbies, interests, etc. if you want to get someone interested.

There is more to me than just my picture. First off I am NOT a fraternity guy. I love reading biographys....Just finished one on FDR starting another on Truman.
Also, history. Purchased Howard Zinns people's history. Almost finished. I constantly read blogs and other news sources. I am Currently a grad student at Saint Louis University. My favorite hobbies are fishing and anything around a lake. I love the water. I double majored in Finance and Economics So I will be a corporate whore. Not sure how I ended up in Corporate america but always fun to tell my coworkers I'm a democrat. Close to my family who are all pretty much democrats. My father, uncle vietnam. Grandfather, great uncle WWII, Great Great Grandfather WWI. I dodged a bullet both figuratively and literally. My favorite cause I guess is volunteering, and talking politics is public places with strangers. People will constantly argue about sports with each other so I figure why not politics? Politics is more important. However, I am a huge Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Tigers fan. Oh and one final note.....I do have attention deficit disorder but it only makes me more fun and unique!!

Seriously, I know several people who've tried eHarmony, and most have "failed" the personality test! I don't know if it's just the people I hang out with, or what. So, decide for yourself if you want to try a service that excludes folks who are "out of the mainstream."

Strikes me as being like a bank: the only way you can join eHarmony is that you can prove you don't have trouble finding dates.
