How come my Firefox is crashing now?

I'm having Catwoman's problem, after nearly a year of using it without incident.

But just now, when I restarted my computer and brought FF back up; it crashed. "... has performed an illegal function and must shut down..."

I'm using Mozilla right now as a back up. But it is irritating. Virus?

4. People have been having problems with Firefox recently. It might

be the latest update. Tell you what. Uninstall FF. Redownload it and reinstall it. Then get your updates. Also, do you have your Microsoft Updates? Go to the Microsoft website and *manually* check.

I restarted FF and now it seems to be working. :shrug:

8. I don't know, but every now and then my copy had a runaway memory

leak, sometimes I've let it go and watch it suck up over 1 GB of Ram, I have two.

13. Dunno. I had to

have the hubband reinstall mine this morning, too. Kept getting the dreaded illegal operation error, too. Seems to be working fine now. I hated using Explorer while it was down.
