Stop the monkey invasion! (Shrub in London)
"Police are saying that they won't be shutting areas of London down, which means shit's definitely gonna kick off, I'm fairly sure of that. Don't know if it'll get nasty."--My friend Max, in London.

He sent me this link,http://www.littledetroit.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=805, which is just too funny, especially this part;

I may have to temporarily change my sig! :D

1. London police chief said "it's not my job to save Bush from embarrassment"
I heard this yesterday on the radio...think it was CBC...can't be sure...but it should really be quite a fete to see the U.S.A networks trying to show Bush in London without showing all the people demonstrating against him!LOL

4. Oh, yeah! Curious George is going to LOVE London
There is already one group that is advertising the protests as a gathering to "come out and kick his ass". And, if they get close enough, Bunnypants will be runnypants right quick!

... That is, if the men in white coats don't grab him first. :evilgrin:

Just tell him it's stuffed with campaign contributions and maybe he'll go for the bait.

I heard Amy Goodman report that "rolling exclusion zones" would be in use, so the Prince of Dimness would never actually see any protestors. This method also precludes protestors being in the same camera shot as Herr Boosh......ppppfffffffttttttt.

But I have a lot of faith in the cleverness of our British allies. ;-)
