2. What's spoiled in it?
That there's no sound in space? That's been known for...years.

3. Tell me something...
Did the death towards the end fell to anyone else like death for a death's sake? I loved the movie, but there was something missing with the Death of the crew member...

5. I thought so, too. (BIG Spoilers)
To prevent anyone from unintentionally reading the following, I'm using a white font. Highlight to read. See? I can be discreet when I want to be.

I meant what I said in my earlier thread. Book and Wash were the two most useless characters on that show, and they would have only been a restriction on future storyline development. Getting rid of them frees up a lot of creative room for Joss to write new adventures for the crew, even if didn't fit the story at the time.

You might also notice how little effect Wash's death had on Zoe. True, she was in soldier-mode most of the time, but she still adjusted overly quickly in my opinion. Frankly, I thought their relationship felt too contrived from the beginning; they just weren't believable as a couple. Maybe we'll see a new romance for Zoe in the next Firefly movie, or whatever medium Joss takes the story to next.

Speaking of contrived relationships that don't make any sense, the best of luck to Kaylee and Simon. No doubt it will end in tears, but if this doesn't help Simon realize he's gay, nothing will.

Oh, and at the end: Mal should have shot him in the back of the head.

I almost put that in readable text, but decided I've pissed off enough people this weekend. ;-)

4. Hey, it seemed funny at the time. (Spoilers, apparently)
I mean, come on. Most of the people going into that movie would probably expect at least one of the main characters to get bumped off. It's not like I named name(s); that would have been over the line, certainly.

Okay, fine. What I did was stupid, childish, and immature, and I apologize sincerely to anyone who was upset by it. My intent was to just let a little thing slip, to cause speculation among people who hadn't seen the movie about which character(s) would be getting the chop. I went too far, and I should have known better.
