You know what is lonely.....
Having a king sized bed, one person all the way on one side, the other all the way on the other.....

With notin' but 500 miles of loneliness in between......

Now that's bein' lonely

Lonely, yes....

34. I hear you. This guy "Josh" I dated for two years
was fascinating to me, and he apparently was fascinated. During the course of our relationship, we had some unforgettable moments, I'm sure, but when he stopped looking at me full in the face that set off alarms for me. I don't trust men who can't look me in the face (because they WANT to) and my love for him began deflating at that moment. We somehow weren't allies anymore. You have to have a "partner in crime" to giggle with, or you go nuts. Someone to admire. And to hold, of course.

Here's a hug:

32. All i have to say is that if you have the option to leave, I'd take it.
I'm in month 3 of living with the ex... Trust me, it's hell. The worst part is getting some momentum going, feeling great, and then having something open the wounds. Let me tell ya, this is the absolute last time I ever make this mistake. Still got three months to go...

The worst part is that now that I'm trying to date again, I'm dreading the idea of having to tell someone I'm really hitting it off with that I live with my ex fiancee still. If I lose out on TWO good things because of her selfishness, I'm not sure how well I'd take that...

40. Thanks-- it's pretty much a medical issue, here.
My husband has severe sleep apnea and snores SO bad-- I mean SOO bad, that I can't even sleep in the same room as him. My neighbors have heard him from across the street during the summer. Of course, he won't make any effort at this point to do anything about it, so I get to sleep on a crappy, saggy bed in my little guy's room. x(

to make your sleep experience better. Can you replace the bad bed with one that will make you feel not quite so put upon? You deserve to get a good night's sleep, and it sounds as though it might be a permanent situation.

43. A good relationship
is based on the "golden rule". Treat you partner the way you would like to be treated. If you want a hug, give a hug---you'll get hugged back. After you get in bed, slid on over there and give her a hug and a big kiss. See what progresses from there. Tell her you miss "spooning" and see if she misses it too. She might feel the same way you do, but can't express it.

48. Not advocating, just my experience.
For me lonely is being with someone who says that they love you but doesn't know or like you and pretends to know you and like you. Alone is much more peaceful. I'm not saying I'll be this way forever, but I've found out I'm damn good company for myself.

(Yes, Khash should kwit posting lyriks, but it seemed right....)

I want you to remember
A love so full it could send us all ways
I want you to surrender
All my feelings rose today
And I want you to remain
The power of children can amaze
I'll try not to complain
I know that's a pisser baby

The chemicals between us
The walls that lie between us
Lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier state
Than lying in this bed

I want you to remember
Everything you said
Every driven word
Like a hammer, hell, to my head

The chemicals between us
The walls that lie between us
Then lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier state
Than lying in this bed

The chemicals between us
The chemicals between us
Lying in this bed

We're of the hollow men
We are the naked ones
We never meant you harm
Never meant you wrong
I'd like to thank
All of my lovers, lovers, lovers

The chemicals between us
The army of achievers
Lying in this bed
The chemicals displaced
There is no lonlier state
Than lying in this bed

The chemicals between us
The chemicals between us
The chemicals

The chemicals between us

Khash.

70. When you sleep you ultimately dream alone
To have the 'human touch" is what makes us human

Sleep is not a king size bed
it only separates us from the cradle
that we all come from

And that is a good sleeping Bag......

no matter if it's male or female

or just something that wraps around the

loneliness, is a plague that the lounge
knows

some great souls here

but ultimately
even if we sleep with each other
we dream alone

Sweet dreams

72. I have the opposite problem.
I have a queen size bed and if my kids aren't at their dad's and my boyfriend's over (yes, I know, bad mommy :eyes:), my 4 year old still wants to come in during the night to lay next to mommy, so (my saintly) boyfriend keeps getting pushed further and further off the bed by me.

p.s. Watch out! I'm a blanket thief in the Winter too. :P
