A question about deleted posts

why is that when an indivdual post gets deleted, it vanishes from your "my posts" list, also when a sub thread goes down, the post just vanishes. However, when an entire threaed is deleted, the post titles, with the replies, are just sitting there mocking you.

oh, and the brazilian joke isn't funny. the london brazilian joke, now that was funny. discuss.
