I'm so excited! We just booked a trip to Europe!!
Taking another Cosmos tour in November, this time to England, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Mr. DTBK checked out prices tonight and booked a 13-day tour! I've been to England, but not these other places.

I just hope I'll be traveling as a licensed attorney and not a failed examinee who has to take it again in February. :scared:

1. Keep your chin up, you'll pass the bar....
Just don't throw up DURING the test, only afterwards. :) Wish I was going, but the tickets would definately be one-way.

3. Fellow DUer RPM gets his results next week - I have to wait another month!
Took it in July - no sense fretting now because I can't change the result!

11. In that case, make sure you sit down before you open the envelope.
Here's to wishing you passed.

13. I'm operating on the assumption that I failed
There's no way in the world that I passed that exam! If I did, I'll buy everyone on DU a piece of bubble gum out of a machine (with over 77,000 people, that's all I could afford!)

4. We took a Cosmos tour of Britain and Ireland in 2001
It was a dream - so well-organized and including so many good things to see. I highly recommend them!

6. I've been to the Rhineland in Germany, so far.
It was a paid for convention for my husband's job. We had a blast! We even got a room in the turret of a castle for 3 nights. I love Europe and Europeans! That was in August, 2001, and then everything changed.

7. Our trip to Britain started September 22, 2001
We were the only Americans on the tour; normally the tour bus carries about 45 tourists, but there were only 19 on our bus because all the other Americans canceled. It was us, one Canadian and 16 Australians. There were flowers all over British cities and signs on lampposts expressing condolences to Americans - very touching.

The security was oppressive, to say the least. I do remember everyone we encountered in Germany hating the Bush administration even then.

10. Yes - we had tea with a British gentleman on a stopover in York
He was telling us how much he and everyone he knew hated Bush, and we let him know in no uncertain terms that we hated him too!

5. Traveling as a licensed attorney will get you nowhere.
Except, maybe, jail.
