Things have been pretty strange for me the last few days.....

I had some very bad trouble at home, trouble within the family, a BIL who was rushed to the hospital because of Chest Pains, people who were close to me suddenly vanished and now, we have had three bad air days in a row here in Cleveland.....

I have literally been running on empty since last thursday....

I need sleep to rejuvenate, to clear my head and yet I have been coughing so much I haven't been able to catch more than an occasional nap.....

I have a chronic lung condition that has me semi house bound....

But because of what has been going on, the emotional trauma coupled with the fog of pollution, I have been left as a virtual prisoner within my home....

So guess what, the only thing that was a constant through all of this was DU in general and the Lounge in particular....

Thanks for putting up with me so much over the past few days.... I have been posting when maybe I shouldn't have been.... Saying things that normally, with a full system abort safeguard in place, I may not have said..... And, if you look at my post total, posting WAY too much....

But let me tell you, without this place, this lovely cyber oasis that is never closed no matter what time, or under what conditions, this place where I can always find at least one friend but usually dozens, this place has been my anchor through it all.....

There have been a lot of faith threads here lately, questioning god, or at least the faith in god...... And yet, I can say one thing, I have much more faith in humanity today than I had before I discovered the connection that we call Democratic Underground.
