Need anti-spyware; Help
I'm not very good about computer stuff and I'm cheap to boot. Can anyone recommend a anti-spyware program that's good, free and downloadable? My computer is slower than molasses and my inexpert diagnosis is dreaded spyware. Can anyone rescue this damsel in distress?

www.download.com get Spybot Search & Destroy.

2. Also get AdAware and when you're done
get Spyware Blaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

AdAware SE personal... http://www.lavasoft.de/default.shtml.en Click download on the left menu

And consider using FireFox http://www.mozilla.org/ as your browser. That'll cut down on a lot of crap and loads faster than IE

3. Make sure you reboot in safe mode

Then run both of the programs recommended above to remove the spyware. Then reboot in safe mode AGAIN and repeat the process. Finally, do a normal reboot and run both programs again.
