Why do tv weather-people feel the need to practically molest the graphics?
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 08:30 PM by Skip Intro
Moving their arms dramatically from region to region, state to state, interacting with satellite imagery, hands all over..

The guy I just saw on TWC - perfect example. My first chance to watch the thing - Rita, and they played the latest satellite loop several times, consecutively, but I never got to follow the eye for an entire loop because this guy had his hands all over it, every time. He was pretending, physically, to "push" the storm along.

Its like they do it on purpose.
