What are you listening to right now?
I've dug deep into the nnns archives, and pulled out "The Rich Man's Eight Track Tape" by Chicago's very own Big Black.

It's just as ugly and abrasive today as it was in the 80s, when this material first was issued. Steve Albini was one pissed off white guy. Still is for that matter.

14. His daughter, Lalah, has a great voice, too

Her remake of Luther Vandross's "For Ever, For Always, For Love" was exquisite - gives me chills when she sings "I'd be a fool, to ever change. If he says he loves the way I am."

25. Seattle club bands which you can get for free!
I am yet new to computer stuff. This multitasking thing is just marvelous. As I type this I am listening to a band offered up from Giant Radio. These guys provide info and cuts from hundreds of NW. bands, (most unsigned). If your setup can do this AND you don't mind being exposed to music which is from unsigned local bands out of the Pacific Northwest then go here:
http://www.giantradio.com/music.html
Whatever kind of music is your fancy can likely be found here, it is broken up into styles. It is FREE and there is no signing up. Pick a band, hit a song or hit play all songs then close window and return here. As I type this post I am listening to Godot, an eclectic soft "girly-rock" band, but metal heads and punksters will find plenty of the harder stuff. These are the bands which on any given night are playing the clubs of Seattle, Portland, Boise and etc.

about Blink 182 and I, unfortunately, get to listen to it here in the office. God, they make me want to vomit. Even if they had made this music 25 years ago when it relevant it would have sucked.

They are my daughter's generation's 38 Special or REO Speedwagon.

38. Nothing yet, but I plan on a Joan Jett weekend starting later tonight.
I had to rewrite a narrative essay and I chose her as my second topic. It'll be interesting to see how the English teacher tears this one apart. Otherwise, I'm making stuff up from now on. This teacher is getting too personal. I'd rather associate Joan Jett is happiness and good times, cause that is what her music means to me.

43. Aaron Neville ~ The Grand Tour
Don't Fall Apart On Me Tonight

Just a minute 'fore you leave girl
Just a minute 'fore you touch the door
What is it that you're trying to achieve girl
Do you think we can talk about it some more
You know the streets are filled with vipers
Who've lost all ray of hope
You know it ain't even safe no more
In the palace of the Pope

Don't fall apart on me tonight
I just don't think that I could handle it
Don't fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday is just a memory
Tomorrow's never what it's suppose to be
And I need you

Come over here from over there girl
Sit down here you can have my chair
I can't see you going anywhere girl
The only place open is a thousand miles away
And I can't take you there

Oh, I wish I'd a been a Doctor
Maybe I'd a saved some lives that been lost
Maybe I'd a done some good in this world
Instead of burning every bridge I crossed

Don't fall apart on me tonight
I just don't think that I could handle it
Don't fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday is just a memory
Tomorrow's never what it's suppose to be
And I need you

Oh, I wish I'd a been a Doctor
Maybe I'd a saved some lives that been lost
Maybe I'd a done some good in this world
Instead of burning every bridge I crossed

Don't fall apart on me tonight
I just don't think that I could handle it
Don't fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday is just a memory
Tomorrow's never what it's suppose to be
And I need you

Oh, I wish I'd a been a Doctor
Maybe I'd a saved some lives that been lost
Maybe I'd a done some good in this world
Instead of burning every bridge I crossed

Don't fall apart on me tonight
I just don't think that I could handle it
Don't fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday is just a memory
Tomorrow's never what it's suppose to be
And I need you

Don't fall apart on me tonight
Don't fall apart on me tonight
