crucifix on a necklace, and a bag of garlic too. Wooden stake, and a loaded squirt gun. Do I need anything else? An attack dog maybe? A magic ring? Elvira had those. A book of spells, recipes, or bad jokes? Maybe another gun loaded with silver bullets, in case I goto London, or do I need a crossbow with silver-tipped arrows? Maybe I had better watch the movie Van Helsing. This stuff is pretty complicated.

But from what I've learned between BTVS and Interview With The Vampire the workable methods are wooden stakes, sunlight, burning and beheading. Crosses repell and sear the flesh (in BTVS) but I'm not sure if they kill, while according to IWTV that's "bullshit".

I have posted a couple of fairly controversial threads in GD lately and I probably should have just kept my mouth shut. Oh well.
