5. I can confirm that Alex is missing.

The last anyone spoke to him was on Saturday. Messages were left on his phone Sunday with no reply. We still aren't sure if he decided to ride it out with his sister or if they went to an evacuation center.

I've gotten unconfirmed info that the house was checked and nobody was there, so it looks hopeful that they at least left the house before the hurricane it. But we still don't know anything for sure.

Hoping for the best.

9. Correction on one point:

His sister is safe and was not with him. Sorry about the bad info. I've had a few phone calls about this and it's hard to keep things straight.

He did get the house boarded up before the storm, and it was his intention to ride it out, but he may have gotten out before the storm or after the storm but before the worst of the flooding. We just don't know for sure and even if he's safe I'm sure he can't call out to let anyone know for now.

If I learn any specifics I'll share them.
