Oh hell...One of my cats has died.

She fell this morning, trying to leap from the dryer to the basement steps. I figured she was ok, as she came upstairs for breakfast. She was limping a little, but seemed to be alright otherwise. She was kind of clingy afterward, so I figured I'd take her to the vet tomorrow if she didn't get better. I had her on my lap, then she started to cough a hairball, so I took her into the kitchen, where it's easier to clean up. But after she coughed up a little, she suddenly took a deep breath, and it was her last.

She was "up there" in years -- 1992 to 2005 -- 12 or 13 years old. That's a pretty good and long life.
