T Minus 1 Week on the Big Move

Just letting the minions know that everything is proceeding as planned for the move out of Seattle.

My friend Steve and his wife threw a nice BBQ for Katy and me last Saturday. The park had a nice view of Puget Sound and the Olympics, with a toasty 87 degrees of bright sunshine. Many friends old and new showed up to make it an enjoyable afternoon.

DUers Geniph and Johnyawl graced us with their presence, and we are joining them for a goodbye dinner tonight.

We have enjoyed the company of other friends these past few evenings, and my heart is touched by their longstanding friendships and kindness.

Katy finally got to see the majestic beauty of Mt. Rainier in all its massive glory. I told her even after 15 years, you never get over it.

Much more to do, but wanted to check in and let everyone know you're not forgotten. :hi:
