Some people are like Slinkies.

Not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

3. Yep,

I am slightly older than most of the nice people here.

But at least I didn't mention that I remember when Mt. Dew (glass) bottles featured an old hillbilly chasing a Daisy-May-looking young lady around. And I think a pig was involved, too...

Ooops..just mentioned it...dammit.

That plastic Slinkys DON'T WORK!!! What a rip off.

My kids have never known the koolness of a REAL Slinky. :cry:

6. I bring that up with many "when I grew up"

things were better and they lovingly remind me that computers with 8 MBs of hard drive space were like 16 feet long and weighed 2000 lbs as they pick up their lap tops and walk outside to the yard and serf on the wireless link...small thing to give up for a real slinky I tell them.
