Jackson faces new sex assault claim
Jackson faces new sex assault claim
By Catherine Elsworth in Los Angeles
(Filed: 18/08/2005)

Michael Jackson was fined $10,000 (£5,500) yesterday for missing a pre-trial hearing in a civil prosecution for sexual assault.

But the singer escaped arrest, which he faced for missing a procedural hearing in July, after his lawyer told a judge in New Orleans that clerical errors were to blame. He said that a summons arrived on the ''anxious'' day that the jury in Jackson's trial in California reached its verdict and was overlooked.

The singer, acquitted in June of abusing a 13-year-old boy, had also risked a possible default judgment in favour of his accuser had his lawyer not attended yesterday's hearing.

Joseph Bartucci Jr is suing Jackson for unspecified damages, claiming that he was lured into the singer's limousine during the 1984 World's Fair in the city and assaulted.

4. Civil suit?
Meaning no threat of jail? No one cares about that.

Mr Bartucci was 18 at the time and claims he repressed the memories until 2003 when he saw media coverage

6. Civil suits against this guy will always have a bad first impression
People will automatically think that they just want his money.

7. Somehow this does not sound like it's over yet for Wacko.
The Santa Maria lawsuit was poorly handled but it's outcome was pretty final.

UK legal commentators said at the time that a British court of law would have convicted on the evidence presented.

However, one UK TV programme referred to a British documentary - World in Action Special - that was pulled in 1999/2000 on legal advice pending the outcome of US criminal investigations.

The gist of it's allegations is that there is overwhelming proof that Jackson died after botched facial surgery some time back in 1995 and was replaced by a Sony-hired lookalike. And that the real Jackson may be buried somewhere in Neverland.

The World in Action documentary producer alleged he had been the target of an attempt on his life and had had to go ex-parte before a UK judge in chambers to file a statement before handing over the master tapes of his film to UK special branch cops.

Have tried to follow up this story several times but - as usual - nothing has been archived onto the internet.

The most interesting connection that I remember from the UK programme about this is that the WIA film producer said he had a business interest in a studio in Joshua Tree, Southern California that had once been used by a former US military intelligence officer called Major Ed Dames - the 'Psychic Spying' operative who claimed the US used remote viewing to survey Saddam's WMD programmes.

Don't know how much of this is relevant but will post if I can get any more on this.

10. The World in Action producer is a TV veteran of over 25 years and
has a highly credible CV of investigative journalism under his belt.

The Jacko lookalike theory would explain much.

The provenance of his alleged true paternity would be on interest.

11. but you see, over here, we don't care about Jackson
like the rest of the world does. It's only because the media needs a distraction from Plame, DSM, etc that * doesn't want attention called to that he is even covered. Ever wonder why he doesn't tour here like he tours the rest of the world? He shot his wad with "Thriller". Music moved on and Jackson was a man suprised by time.

So if it is an imposter, big deal. We've got bigger fish to fry.

12. Sometimes it's the little smelly sprat that is the bait to catch a
whopping great big fish like stinko Shrub.

Jackson is the tail end of a pedophile chain that infiltrated western security/intelligence, public office and the military.

Watch this one fall and the whole chain of command collapses.

8. Cindy Sheehan's story needs some distraction
Mr Bartucci was 18 at the time and claims he repressed the memories until 2003 when he saw media coverage of child molestation charges brought against Jackson.

or Bartucci needs some quick money.
