Barbara Bel Geddes (Miss Ellie from Dallas) dies at 82.

with a very small part as the girl who loved Jimmy Stewart but didn't fall out of the belltower. ;)

2. Loved her in that Alfred Hitchcock presents "Lamb to the Slaughter"

or something like that. She kills her husband with a leg of lamb and then cooks it up for the police who are investigating his disappearance. Classic Hitch--he even directed that episode.

how people remember it too. She was a good actress.

I was sad she didn't make it to the Dallas reunions. She was quite the character as Ms Ellie. She was what I'd call a steel magnolia in her own right.
