Although there are a lot of other things I like about DU, I refer to The lounge, specifically.

This evening has been especially nice, and I don't think it's just the Scotch talking.

You can ask questions about medical, personal, household, computer, fashion, food...whatever...problems or situations and usually get some good, serious answers. And some funny ones.

You can exchange bon mots, ripostes, and good natured insults with witty and intelligent like minded folks.

You can try to entertain, and be entertained in return.

You can get in trouble and get out of trouble and say dumb stuff and repent...or not...and usually nobody carries a grudge.

This is a good place and I like it here.
