Want to see some of my art work?
This one I call Duality. Oil on board like surface. Very textured. Size is 2 1/2 ft X 4 ft

The white on this one was painted a dark purple when finished. Oil on board like surface Size is 2ft X 4ft and hangs in my sister-in-laws house.

Babboon stem cell in reproduction. Oil on board like surface. Textured. Size is 2 1/2 ft X 4 ft This hangs in a friends home.

I made paper and covered boxes with it and decorated with ribbon and flowers and gave to female family members.

This one is Make Me Beautiful. The finished painting looks much different from what you see here. Oil pastel crayons on board like material. Size is 2 1/2 ft X 4 1/2 ft

This is a table my husband just finished building.

:applause:

I have more but my name is clear in some of the pictures and I can't post them. And I don't have access to the others. I will post them later.

Thanks for looking and Any feedback is welcome.

5. It is one of my favorites.
It makes me feel good that it hangs in someone elses home. He is a neighbor who has been very supportive of me painting. He would host gatherings where people would bring art, play music, read poetry and stuff. I was the one who brought my art. It is scarry taking it out to show the public. Not many people have seen it. Thanks for your support. :hi:

8. I will post the finished version later.
I had just watched the first season of Nip Tuck and had the theme song in my head.

I love the table, but it was for his sister. Rite now he is building a chess set for us. He is using Purple Heart and Paduk. The orange and the purple go so nice together. It is going to be big and heavy, and absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to play.

Thank you for looking. I would like to see your creations.

I will PM you with what I painted the day after the election. :applause: I will have to take a picture of it and upload it and what not. But I can't at the moment. Thank you for looking and for taking a break from that reality to see what other realities can look like. Even if it is only for a moment. :applause: :applause:

16. I have only started to paint about 5 years ago when
my sister in law sent me a small box of paints because she remembered me saying one time that I would like to try them. She has 2 pieces of my art in her home.

It all started because we wanted original art to hang on our walls. Now my stuff hangs in every room.

I am amazed how it accumulates. Give it a try.

Some people say I should take classes. But I never have. And I have books if I really want to know how to do something. But mostly the art comes thru me and not from me. And to me it is all about the colours and textures and shapes. I have a geometric theme emerging in my style from what I can see.

Thanks for looking.

I had just gotten the paints and a Picasso book. It is my interpretation of one of his. Not fully original but yet it is my own.
Thank you!:hi:

25. Wow! You are like Dali!
I was going to tell you the table needed to melt or something until I noticed the onset of the Virgin Mary in it!

Seems like you could hook up with a publisher to cheer up their dreary textbooks.

hanging in a library or school. Some of my work is very geometrical and I think it would go well in a math class.

27. Redcloud,
I did'nt know what you were talking about when you mentioned the image on the table. But I just looked at it and I totally see a VM image. I called my husband to tell him and he conferenced his sister in. They did'nt get it. I saw it when I sat back from the screen which reduced the glare. I see Mary? feeding a bird that is sitting on her hand. I see alot when I really look at the picture.
 :applause:

My husband wants me to use paintshop to show him what I am looking at. But that is beyond my current abilities. If you can use paintshop/paintbrush on the photo to show me what you see, I would like to see it. If you need the actual file I can send it to you later. Thanks. O8)

33. Okay, I you show me your Jesus
I will show you mine....

BTW, there is one word to describe your art work....

Stunning......

I mean that. It grabs you. Draws you in. It does everything good art is suppose to do....

It is also provocative without, as, unfortunately, far too many "artist" believe is the definition of art, being attention grabbing.......
