Feminine’ Tongkat Ali draws them in

LANGKAWI: A Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) root with unique feminine features has attracted thousands of visitors to a traditional medicine factory in Kampung Perana here.

The root resembles the lower half of a female body complete with sexy legs.

Its 46-year-old owner, Noor Muhamad Ahmad, has, however, refused to part with the metre-longroot that was found in Bukit Sawak near Kampung Nyior Chabang about three years ago.

“Word that I own a rare piece of Tongkat Ali has spread like wildfire. People come from as far as Brunei and Singapore to see the item on display in my factory.

“I am not going to sell it. My worker found it when he went to search for roots and herbs in the jungle,” he said.
