My Ding-A-Ling-A-Ling
Chuck Berry

When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two Silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling

My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling

When I was little boy In Grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But Evertime the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling

Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to My ding-a-ling

Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
with both hands holding my dingaling

Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your on Ding-a-ling

6. I guess "Mr. Tambourine Man," but the Byrds version.
The Dylan version I find nondescript.

Either that, or "Bang A Gong," because T-Rex rocks.

7. Stella Blue - Grateful Dead
Edited on Sun Jul-24-05 06:04 PM by ET Awful
It's very abstract, but the basis for the song was an old Stella guitar :).

Like so:

23. BB let me play on Lucille!
I did a JMcL lick and he asked me where I'd learned that and I told him I'd picked it up and J had corrected my fingering. He gave me a hug.

15. "Ill Wind"
Edited on Sun Jul-24-05 06:28 PM by Karenina
Dinah Washington

It's so hard to keep up
with troubles that creep up
from out of nowhere
when LOVE'S to blame...

And so, ill wind blow away
let me rest today
You're blowing me no good
No good. No good....

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

That "ill wind" has been my connexion to this life, my voice. It matters not how well I've mastered it in today's society. I've been wrestled to the ground and had shots fired into my head because of my "looks."

16. Hi LynneSin
I voted for While My Guitar Gently Weeps (due to Joani's martinis) that's the best I could come up with today.

Joani has talked me into coming to D. C. in September so we can talk more about this when we meet. BTW Joani makes fabulous martinis!
