1. Eudora Welty was a WPA photog/writer.
If it were about Eudora, I'd say sure.

2. Fictional
It's about a nephew who goes home to close up the family house and finds his aunts personal journals...

She left small town Ohio to head off on a dream when women just didn't do those kind of things...

He reads the journals and discovers this great love, the passion of the March and the melancholy of the loss.....

5. I would!
I adore true history tomes AND historical novels. And I love that period. I'm writing my family history right now, so I'm essentially living in another time. Makes it easier to deal with everything that is going on.

Go for it!

9. How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh?
Got a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Got a, got a nice little story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for 3 years? Huh? Got a, got a compelling protagonist? Yeah? Got an obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Got a story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? Yeah, talking about that 3 years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah?

Haha, sorry, I just had to quote Family Guy there, it was too fitting.

10. Wondefull....
And yes, some friends do become enemies, but the main charactor, a man finding the journals, well we shall have to wait and see....

12. Thanks....
I want to focus on the Bonus March because it seems to be a pivotel point in the early depression years and gets short treatment....

Maybe it's because MacArthur showed what an Imperialist Thug he really was right from the start.....

8. Well, I have about 75k already down....
I got sidetracked by you know deadly illness, job loss, that kind of mundane stuff....

But I was sitting down rereading stuff I had been writing and it came to me that I needed to personalize the photographer, to make her more believable, that's where the love story popped in...

It won't be ready for a while but when I get some done, I'll post it....
