Here's a pic. of the Sheridan County Dems prize winning float
Edited on Tue Jul-22-03 12:31 PM by fromsmalltownAmerica
Well I hope this works. Zenlefty helped me out here so I could post this pic.

Here is a brief reminder about this float.

Every year we have the Sheridan WYO Pro Rodeo and it is like the biggest event that happens in our neck of the woods. Almost anyone who has ever lived here comes back for this event as well as many who have never lived here. This is like the Olympics to us and so all awards, given are about as special as recieving a medal. Well we hold a rodeo parade every year and this year's theme was, "Where Liberty Reins" a little play on words. Well we entered our float and it took the highest award given for the parade. Which is quite cool as most of the parade judges are repukes. The repug women entered a float that was quite befitting for their party. It was a sheep wagon. Needless to say they did not win any awards as they didn't have anything inspiring.

The pic is in black and white as that is the only pic I have available right now. The rider is dressed with a blue shirt w/ white stars. His chaps are red & white striped. The horse is a buckskin color (like Spirit the movie). The rider is holding the Bill Of Rights in his hands and the words Dictatorship, Oppression, Repression, Suppression, Defenselessness, Military State & One Set Religion are written on the horse. This is showing that the BOR Rein these things. There was a sign that read, The U.S. Constitution and the Bill Of Rights keeps reins on (all the words on the horse)Etc. So All U.S. Citizens Can Have Life, Liberty and Pursue Happiness.

The Guy playing the fiddle is our local party's chair and he is a totally awesome guy. He has done quite a bit in the last few years to revive the party here locally. He is so full of energy and enthusiasm that everyone is inspired to work together to rebuild our party.

Well here is the URL. Again Hope it works.

O.K it didn't work. I did what Zenlefty said to do. I'll see if he can help get it posted. Sorry. Check back again to see if it has been posted by Zenlefty.
