There was one Iranian student that used to hang out in front of the student union at UCLA in the 70s and rail against the Shah non-stop, every day. He actually got sort of cheerleader vibe going as he was trying to incite us to activism. We were too focused on Vietnam to really pay attention to what was happening in Iran then (and the massive consequences we would have to pay starting in 1979).

Anyway:

(In Farsi accent) "Everybody! Chant wit' me!
Down with the Shah!
Down with the Shah!
Down with the Shah!
Down with the Shah!

Down with the Shah! Down with the Shah!
Down, down, down with the Shah!"

Don't know why I flashed on that just now. It was pretty hilarious at the time, though.
