Outlet Malls
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 03:28 PM by Jara sang
Cheap crap the designer / name brands couldn't sell because it was too ugly, damaged or the sizes were irregular so they slap a %40 off tag on it and all of a sudden it becomes a "bargain" that you can't live without but when you take it home you decide that it looks like crap on you anyway.

1. I beg to differ
You haven't been to the Wrentham Outlets in MA. Off 5th, Williams Sonoma Outlet, and many others where you can get some EXCELLENT bargains. There are some shitty outlets: Kittery Outlets up in Maine are hit or miss. I stick to the Crate & Barrel outlet up there.

2. I was just at a J Crew outlet
It looked like somebody had puked pink fabric all over the place and said "Hey, this is what they were wearing in the Hamptons ten years ago."

You're right about Kittery. You have to know where to look.

8. I go to Kittery every year when I visit some friends at their beach house
and I SWEAR I see the same crap every season at certain outlets.

3. Can't beat the prices on socks & underwear at the Legg's/Hanes outlet.
Plus we've expanded our Corelle set significantly.

6. Ooo! I love the "Leggs/Hanes"outlets
in Wilmington, and the LL Bean outlet there would be good if I lived closer - they don't have much in my size, but when they do -- come on -- $10 for LLBean jeans in a "tall" size? What's not to like?

7. Oh pleeeeze send one of them down here to me...
I live in the keys where the only stores are shell shops and dive shops...I so envy people who have real stores nearby.
