ESP? Clairaudience? Feedback please.

I would like to share something and get some feedback if anyone has time or interest

I'm not referring to the kind of clairaudience that people refer to when they mention 'hearing voices from the spirit world'. I am referring to being able to hear conversations between other people from a far distance in a noisy environment. I've heard this is moreso called "Extrasensory Hearing". I didn't realize what was happening at first, until it sunk in later. I am going to share an experience I had recently and I would like to hear some feedback from people.

I have had many 'psychic' experiences in my life - mostly clairvoyance and precognition - and usually having to do with other people's health, and sometimes my own fate. I also have many experiences where I think of someone I haven't seen in a long time and then the next day or a few days later, I run into them somewhere.

I'm not sure whether to call this 'clairaudience' or 'extrasensory hearing'. I think I most likely experienced this for the first time this month. I was in a crowded place that definately was not quiet and happened to notice two certain people looking in my direction. Some gestures one of them made led me to believe they were talking about me. He then kind of pointed at me, and the other made eye contact with me (probably not on purpose) as he was looking at who the other was pointing at. It wasn't a direct "pointing" but in my general direction, then whatever that person said to describe me prompted the other to look at me.

Anyway, this was seriously a loud and crowded place and it has been driving me a little crazy trying to figure out how I heard this. I heard them mention a bunch of things that had to do with me - various different situations regarding me - using exact words and phrases that I distinctly recognized. I didn't realize what was happening, what this was that I was hearing - or experiencing - I ended up focusing on watching them as they were talking, and on top of the 'extrasensory hearing' i was experiencing, I could most times read their lips and their body language. It would probably really freak them out if I recited back to them everything I heard.

The one even said - at the end of their conversation, after looking over toward me - with a very confused look on his face - "man, does she hear us talking about her? she keeps looking over here?" and the other person looked confused as well, then they kind of shook their heads and went on with something else.

I am just amazed that I heard so much of the conversation, and there was no way possible I could have heard it unless it was some kind of clairaudience. I later confronted one of them about the conversation, and they denied it (of course), but there is no way I could make up what I heard - and there is no way it could have been about someone else other than me.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences like this -- and also if anyone has any feedback on how to deal with it. I mean, I don't think I was supposed to hear this specific conversation, and to be honest, parts of it offended me a little - and the fact that they won't admit it (probably because they are freaked out that I could hear them) makes me feel even more wierded out.

Any thoughts?

I think that the Universe has deemed you worthy of an additional gift. Have you been asking for more of this type of thing?

I'm a true believer, but I don't have any gifts in this area. You really have my respect. I'm sure that you'll always only use your gifts for the highest good of all those involved.

I wish that I could help you, but I just have to say "lucky you!" (However, I'd be a little freaked out at first as well, I'm sure.)

i have really needed to talk about this since it happened, and since i realized what really did happen. at first i thought they meant for me to hear it and it was a joke, until i asked them about it and they denied it - then for the remainder of the times that i saw them, they basically avoided me and acted wierd.

i guess it's a gift - but i mean, i'm not sure how much it helps me being that i never realize what has happened until hours, days, sometimes weeks later

This really is a gift. It's just going to be weird until you learn how to use your wings. You did something right in a past life to be blessed with something like this! (I believe in reincarnation -- sorry if you don't.)

I've been waiting a long time for my gifts to come. I just have to be patient. (Or maybe I haven't been so good in a past life! )

and have some kind of control over them, and be conscious of the fact these kind of things are happening as they happen.

I believe you have them as well, I believe everyone does. It's just a matter how much of your energy you allow to be vulnerable to the other energies around you, without force, and without insincere attempts.

it wasn't like that at all. everything i heard matched up with their gestures, body language, and moving lips (Aside from one of them mistakenly looking right at me and me making eye contact with them )

9. Don't listen to anyone else about this if they say that it's not real.

There's more to this world than what we can tell be our regular senses.

Some people are never going to believe in it, and that's their choice. However, you know that it's real, and that's all that matters.

It seems odd that a couple of strangers would talk at length about someone they didn't know. The only time I've talked about people that I see in a restaurant is to comment that they are good looking or to complain or compliment the waiter.

not at all. people i know - not entirely personally, but on some level. this is really a little personal for me to talk about on public forums - being since apparently (so i have learned) some people like to see what i'm saying on other forums because they are nosy so i'm really trying not to literally state who it was. i probably will eventually tonight though

For some reason I thought they were strangers. The reason I asked about mental illness is that I am mentally ill and when I was suffering from my symptoms I used to hear voices even in a noisy setting and I attributed it to other people talking about me.

At least 30 times in my life, I've dreamed of future events. The dreams weren't like other dreams, however. There was a different "taste" if you will. Each time I had only dim recollections of the dream.

When the event starts to happen, it all comes back in a rush. It's very weird. I realize what's happening immediately, but for some reason, I can't always change my responses.

Unfortunately, it's never been something major. The first time it happened, it was about a bully on my school bus my freshman year. I positively knew he was going to hit the kid with a book 2 or 3 minutes before it happened, but I could do nothing to stop it. I could honestly see all of his actions for the next couple of minutes, and everyone else's around me. All of my actions seemed scripted, too. I knew minutes before I told him to stop exactly what I would say. It was very eerie.

Since then, it's happened 1 or 2 times each year. Always with the same results.

That is the problem I normally have, my responses. Even when I realize I am experiencing something I foresaw, I can't respond to it. Which isn't all that great if you foresee someone in danger

15. I work with a woman

who claims to have ESP. She has told stories of being able to see into the future on several occasions. But she doesn't actively use it. I've not heard of your ability however.

the only thing i can figure to call it is extrasensory hearing. i must have been in tune with the energy going on between them, in combination with my own intuition telling me that it was about me. i am half tempted to recite all that i heard and send it to them but it would probably freak them out

You should learn how to tap into this gift that you have. Also could it be telepathy? I am sure that while the people were talking about you they were thinking their words.

I don't have any of these gifts but at night when I am laying in bed I kind of get a din of voices in my ears. I have always thought that it was something else until someone told me that they could be spirits from the other side conversing with each other and I am just able to tap into a bit.

I have also heard my name called out a few times, even with my hearing aids on. I have also heard footsteps in my house and I would think it was my dad entering.

My mom has a psychic ability but she is afraid to use it. I am not sure if I have any of these abilities but I am a firm believer that we all have some innate ability it's just that some are more advanced than others.

You should read some of Sylvia Browne's books they are truly inspiring. I believe in reincarnation and I believe that we better ourselves through each life and become more spiritual with each passing.

Get close to God/dess and trust Him/Her to guide you through this and ask Him/Her for their protection. I have a good many acquantices that are Neo-Pagan and have some form of psychic ability.

IMHO I think you may either have some telepathic (it can exist!) ability or hyper-sensitive hearing.

18. Hi, Dee- an interesting note about the bettering of oneself...

with each life. I respectfully disagree that that doesn't always happen, although it is the purpose of each life, in my opinion. The people in the B* administration almost assuredly haven't bettered themselves this life.

However, I think that this is absolutely our aim in each life. Sometimes we're successful and sometimes we're not. Over the long run (many lives), we've hopefully evolved to be more spiritual. (I'm not talking about religious.)

I truly feel that liberal people are more evolved than conservative people. (I'm not saying that there aren't exceptions to this rule, but I do think that this is the way it usually works out. I don't think that this makes us better beings -- we're just at a higher grade in this school called life. (Maybe we started earlier than they did...)

22. You really should read Sylvia Browne's books

She makes alot of sense and yea I agree with you 100%

She talks that each of us are on different levels of knowledge. She even says that there are others who are on higher levels than others. You really should read her book "Life on The Other Side."

As for the people in the Bush adminstration and conservatives in general, I believe that they are more like children. They may have had fewer past lifetimes here on this planet and that they have a ways to go.

Sylvia does mention in her book that those who have chosen to have reincarnate on this planet are usually highly evolved though that isn't always the case. She does say that her guide, Francine mentions that this planet is known as the "insane asylum of the universe."

I have mentioned on other posts that I have always felt that I didn't belong here and that I came from somewhere else. I don't know about anyone else other than my mother who feels the same.

Just keep doing your research, also another possiblity and don't laugh at me about this but just keep an open mind, is that they could have been ghosts, not spirits, spirits are on the Other Side which is three feet above this plane and at a faster frequency (astral plane) ghost are kinda "stuck between" Now they may have been wearing today's clothing and just recently died and don't realize it or what. I was thinking about this situation last night before I went to sleep and this is what came to my mind.

but, I think that it merely means that you have acute hearing and above average powers of observation. I don't know though, there might be more to it. However I think most of what you are experiencing can be explained scientifically. You should check out what the government was doing with "remote viewing" Project Stargate, Project Center Lane. The CIA was all about this stuff for quite a while. Check out this book: Remote Viewing Secrets It was written by the guy who was at the center of the project. He says that basically anybody can do it.

21. Very interesting.

I think that most of the things that are considered to be extra-sensory are very naturual things that have just been turned off in us, by default, for some reason. I think that with work, we probably each can learn them. I just find it really amazing when someone just stumbles upon it without consciously doing anything to get to that place. It's always nice to be able to skip over the work.
