Poll question: Best MST3K host segments
This is a sequel to the most painful episode poll. For those that don't know, Myster Science Theater consists of two parts: Mike or Joel and the robots watching bad movies and making wisecracks and host segments of the MST characters interacting with each other and usually doing some parody based on the episode's movie.

Also the Gamera segments.. "Gamera is really neat, he is full of turtle meat.. We all love you Ga-mer-a!" and the inner-shell diagram, complete with a media center.

"I want a coke daddy."

What was with that little girl's voiceover arghhh! hehe that was the best mst3k movie EVER! :)

Japanese Girl:
Gamera dance a gogo, gamera is my boyfriend.

Sidehacking is pretty cool though, man I should go buy a sidecar.

My all time favorite movie was probably the planet of the apes knock-off. Crow's monkey fashion show segment was priceless.

6. My own favorite is Ward Clever as the angel of death.
For those who have not figured it out, the hex-field viewer is not a blue screen or a CRT. It is just a window that opens to the next room on the set. When "Dad" called Joel and the robots on the hex-field to announce the end of the world, Mike Nelson portraying Ward Clever was standing only a few feet away. Yet the entire hex-field scene was in black and white despite the fact that the rest of the scene was in color. Since they had no CGI or any other special effects, they created the black and white hex field scene by building a balck and white set. All the books, furniture etc. are all monochrome. Nelson is wearing only grey clothes and his hair is dyed black. Even his pipe and make-up are monochrome. It is a color film of black and white objects. This become apparent when Ward lights his flame-thrower lighter and the flame is orange. That is an awful lot of work and attention to detail for a segment that is less than 30 seconds long.
