ZANESVILLE - Police Chief Eric Lambes knew immediately that 40-year-old Janice Day wanted more than just a ride.
For a mere $20, the Zanesville resident promised Lambes anything he wanted. What he got was one more prostitute charged with solicitation.
Day was arrested Friday morning after she solicited sex for money from Lambes in his unmarked cruiser. The incident followed a chance meeting at the Putnam Avenue Drive-Thru, Lambes said.
"The first time she approached me was in the parking lot, asking me for a ride," Lambes said. He said he could tell immediately what she was going for and replied with, "Ask me when I come back."

And in the article - if you see prostitution activity - call the police. WHAT A JOKE! Last time I called them on a prostitute, they took 45 mins to show up. I don't bother now, I just get in their face until they get off of my block. Actually, most of them know me now, and we have an uneasy truce.
