What the hell is a Gothic Chancellor?

I tried on the costume, and I look absolutely smashing and hot in black... But I know nothing of the era or the concept. Gothic? Goth? Chancellor? They don't drink blood do they? Is it a significant person in a cult? Even the sunglasses are kinda dark - well, only one pair was left and they were gray so I spraypainted them black with enamel made-for-plastic spray paint. Definitely worth the modification... now it's time to highlight the hair.

The Viking costume was, sadly, incomplete. The guy pictured was definitely a turn-on, but the costume was incomplete. :-( That's what I get for waiting until the last attosecond to purchase this stuff... :-)
