Can't learn at that pace. I've seen 0's and 1's for so long now that my eyes are crossing. I just learned this newfangled arithmetic that says the 1+1=10 or 0 carry the 1 which is still 10. How will I ever balance my checkbook now?

is over my head. I had a major breakdown when I learned how to just count in binary numbers last semester. Now, I got to add those monsters. I can't take but so many 1's and 0's before I seriously consider just becoming a nurse to give my mind a rest. That's bad, because the nursing program is tough. I wish they just had computer programming and I could write software. I'd be much happier. I remember enjoying computers at one point. Now I feel like they are just souped up calculators with a serious problem handling 2 through 9. I needs my 2 thru 9 numbers. I miss the old days of trying to interpret the National Electrical Code book, a law book if I ever saw one. I'm having another breakdown. Must study more and will probably still fail quiz with 1 or 2 questions on it tomorrow. I can't keep up. I need a fix of something grand to make me feel better at this point. That's why I came to DU tonight to rest.
