I figured...I'm in Manhattan! What the fuck am I doing in my hotel??? On DU????

But I walked like 6 blocks and my feet started to hurt (this does not bode well for the rest of the trip!) and then I saw P-Diddy, Puffy Daddy, Sean Combs, whatever out in the middle of the street dressed in flowing robes and a crown and I thought...well now I have had my NY moment for today. So it's a late dinner (panini and hard lemonade) for me, a little DU...and off to bed.

1. Cool!
I'm glad you decided to go out!

Are you staying in an elegant midtown hotel?

Will you be back to do your show?

5. Hey, progmom, kiss some (clean) part of NYC for me!
I was married and lived there at Third Avenue and 28th Street -- 1962 - 1968. Some days I miss the theater and all the fun things we used to do (with my ex-husband) before we had kids.

Enjoy! I have no idea what your "business" is -- but I hope it goes well.

Warmly,

Radio Lady now in the West, pardner -- Portland, OR

15. Thanks so much. Try the back of your freshly washed hand!
Or blow kisses into the air -- I've had some very pleasant moments in some fantastic places around that town. There was one visit that shook me to the core, -- November 2001 when we completed a pre-9/11 trip around Thanksgiving and went down to Ground Zero. I can't remember feeling more sad, except when we went to the Holocaust History Museum in Israel "Yad Vashem"

My throat seized up in both places from emotion -- and I couldn't talk for about an hour. Those were dreadful events.

But we also had exceptionally beautiful moments on both trips.

Good night and good luck!
