I know I don't... ick... those guys are disgusting. I mean yeah they're attractive... but swinging that banana hammock around and leering... it does NOTHING for me.

But I've heard of these places being attended by rioutously enthusiastic women... I'd like to know how many here are into that sort of thing.

Someone else's party at the same restaurant(!) that my parents and my grandmother and I went to(!). The view was blocked, but the women were screaming and swooning.

Never at a private party, though, and I suspect that would take care of the screaming, swooning women, though, as I can't imagine any of my girlfriends doing that (then again, you never know). My friends tend to do the standard dinner/drinks type parties, even for bachelorette parties.

There were no strippers at my own bachelorette party -- I didn't want them, for the silly factor listed above.

kinda sums it up for me.
i went to chippendales once merely because it was free, my friend knew a bartender, and it was too early to go to a club and we were drunk at 7 pm (she had crashed my company x mas party.
all the other women there were much older and suburban and married. they had a hoot, the time of their lives. i didn't get it at all at the time, becasue sex was pretty easy to get for me... but i think they all had husbands who also "stopped trying" to be attractive and alluring and playful, and they were just loving it. it is just about fantasy, you know? i was not into them myself, but kinda facinated. one performer's intro was swinging in on a vine like tarzan, very high poduction values. from what i could see, the guys were similar to a lot of women i knew. they wish they were acting/ singing in hollywood, but this paid the bills. it was kinda cool seeing the shoe on the other foot. but why aren't people judging the guys and saying they're victimizing themselves? this is what i don't get. some people, men and women, can handle the just playing thing better than others, i think. they're not all victims from what i've seen. i think the "sex has to be with love" people don't get that, and they pathologize what is not their norm. i betcha i don't respect a lot of their norms too. but i don't think they're screwed up.

From what it sounds like, for me personally, it would feel like too much. I don't like that aggressive aspect thing that I hear it can be. I like men. I like men's bodies, but that "in my face thing" is too much in terms of a man I didn't know. Plus, I don't like pushy men. I'd rather have something more in private from a man I'd actually want to sleep with. I'd rather have a pretty girl I didn't know do that kind of stuff because I can deal with aggressive woman more than aggressive men. It may be funky, but we all have our little quirks and preferences I suppose. :shrug:

Never been to a strip club and watched women, but I would most definitely try that. I'd probably rather see a sex show in all honesty, but I think one has to go to Amsterdam for that stuff. Maybe NYC? Who knows? I'm sure when the time is right I could easily find whatever I'd want.

with a bunch of girlfriends. I found the experience loud, threatening and just really very stupid. The strippers were so aggressive. They came into the crowd and grabbed the girls and pulled them on the stage to "dance" with them. I am not a prude but it felt very intrusive and uncomfortable to me to have some dopey looking muscle boy in a sling grab me. When I wouldn't go he did a headstand on my chair (his head between my legs) and wrapped his thighs around my neck.

Personally, besides that experience, I found it all very stupid. Naked men are great things but the whole performance thing was just silly.

Some women were wild though and loved it. :shrug: Female strippers, at least the ones I have seen, at least seemed somewhat arty about it. I suppose that is often not the case though.

In my one experience I found that you had no option, either join in willingly or they will grab you. One poor embarrassed younger woman ran into the bathroom and the guy went after her, she got away and ran into the parking lot and he went after her and dragged her back in. I don't know if they have calmed down at all since those early days, this had to have been 1982 or so. It just felt really intrusive and creepy.

So he made you touch? Ick. I find nothing about forcible sex enjoyable.
