2. Oh hell yes.
I don't socialize much with the folks from work. Nice people, for the most part, though.

A couple of us play golf every now and then, but for routine day-to-day contact, I socialize more here, even when I'm lurking from the office.

3. I as well
You all are full of way more piss and vinegar than my office AND DU'ers put forth a lot more caring, loving and general sexiness than my coworkers.

I love you guys!

4. I'm in HR, so yeah
I'm in the position of knowing "all the dirt" (so to speak) on the employees. There really isn't much dirt there, but people often try to get info out of me. I have to watch what I say and how I say it all the time. It's a bit depressing. When at work, I tend to socialize within my department and with a couple of other people who know sensitive stuff (our VP of Finance and I get along great), or else I have lunch with friends outside of the office.

7. I'm an independent IT consultant so yes. I usually bring client's
systems home to rebuild/troubleshoot the software/system.

10. Not only yes, but HELL YES
All my co-workers are neo-conservative republican bushbots. EVERY. SINGLE. LAST. ONE. OF. THEM. I have better things to do than hang out with people who voted in the idiot who is ruining our country.

11. about 50/50
Since I am a natural hermit, I make it a point to socialize with the others here.

It's pretty good actually. We all have our own individual offices and my managers are great to interact with. So I don't mind spending quality hall time with them. :-)

And I try not to let DU distract me.... too much. :D
