1. Impossible, and I'll prove it

The energy of the flame wars pulls in every possible direction, and thus the energy of one direction is countered and negated by the energy of the opposite direction. Thus, net effect, zero.

You may say we could channel it to flow all in one direction, but if that happened, we would cancel out the flame war itself. Then we would be harnessing the power of DU's intellect, all pulling for the same goal to create staggering amounts of potential for a single cause. That's a beautiful thing when it happens, as anyone who remembers the anti-invasion protests can attest to, but it's not the energy of the flame wars, it is the energy of a common cause that is harnessed.
