6. It's just a spot on the bottom of my show now
It was less than a centimetre long. Worm-like but it seemed kind of flat. It also seemed wider at the 'head' end and tapered to the 'tail' end. It slithered in a creepy manner and it was DAMN fast.

I won't allow my cat to play with bugs either - while it may be in his nature to torment them, it is not MY nature to watch it. :)
