It happened. She did it. She really did it.
As of this evening, my beautiful daughter is a high school graduate.

I didn't think I'd get emotional.

I was wrong.

14. No, but she's going to anyway - she's moving back to MN in August.

And yes, I'm actually old enough. ;) Come to think of it, I thought I looked kind of old in the pictures we took after the ceremony. Maybe that was due to not sleeping last night.

Seems like just a couple of weeks ago, I let go of her hand on her first day of first grade and cried off and on all day.

I have an 11-year-old behind her. I want more than anything to make each day last . . .

I don't know why I'm so maudlin tonight. Congratulations to you and your daughter. She's onto another chapter now of her adventure.
