Not that the place couldn't use a little more excitement, but I doubt they really need the terrorist influence to be purposefully magnified.

Also, as all Mainers know, the 9/11 guys went through Portland's airport - so Bangor isn't even the terrorist pass-through center of the State!

4. Yes, I recall the people there were incredibly hospitable

when airpplanes were grounded on 9/11

5. They already have one
It's called Bangor International. They are short on tourist brochures, but they do move a lot of copies of "Maine by the Mile Marker: the I-95 Sightseer's Guide." It's a good way to kill time on that long drive to the Federal Courthouse in Boston.
