He's actually incredibly sweet. He was abused and abandoned prior to me adopting him in January. He had two abusive homes prior to my adoption - that I know about so far.

It's hard for them NOT to look serious and grumpy :). They are very sweet pups though :).

But I have a decent sized little yard for an apartment. I'm trying to find some pics of the back of the yard which is filled with flowers.

Only downside is that he is a little aggressive towards other male dogs, but with proper training, we shall overcome.

10. Today is my dog's birthday

I just sang "Happy Birthday" to him a little while ago. His name is Thunder and he is 12 years young today:

13. I love Thunder's little frog (happy b-day Thunder :)).

Does he love that frog as much as my buddy's dog love his stuffed sheep? :) Took it everywhere with him . . . hell, even if he was going to the vet, he wouldn't get in the car without his sheep :).

It's the only stuffed animal that he will keep for months - all others get ripped apart within minutes. He tends to carry that frog around for a few months and when it gets nasty looking, I pick up a new one at Petsmart. He LOVES them! :hi:

of days. Sadly, none have lasted more than a few days.

19. I'm not sure what it is about the frog that kept him from destroying it

but it is literally the only stuffed animal he will keep for an extended period of time. Therefore, his other toy is the indestructible "kong"

23. Spike has a Kong bone and absolutely loves it.

I stuff a couple of treats in the end and voila! Hours of entertainment.
