He was so little
less than 8 lbs., and he needed me for everything.

Now look at him.

5. Wow, what a good looking boy
er.... man. It's bizarre how quickly that happens - I am preparing for my daughter's wedding in August. Her older sister has already been married for over four years and has two kids (!) and my "baby", their brother, is 17. It makes my brain hurt.

6. Thank you.
Tim will be 18 in October.

His girlfriend turns 18 in September and leaves for the Navy in August.

Tim has another year of high school.

19. I know it. I sat behind the most precious baby at church and couldn't
believe it was only a few years ago that mine were that small.

Yes. I now need to get into my closet. I will try to do that this weekend.... after my 5K road race.

(And you're right... he does need me. Just not for "everything".)

15. Yes, that the picture in the gallery, taken nearly 10 years ago
There are days that I want all those years back, and days where I wouldn't take them back for anything in the world.

Still, getting through all those days, events, crisis, tears and laughs... it made him what he is today--and that's not so bad.

And I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday.
A fine looking young man at that!

23. Is he planning a career in the Navy? My 19 yr old is going in December.
Living in San Diego I know tons of career Navy people and they love it. Its very honorable and a bit safer than a ground troop service.
